It has only what amounts to a campaign mode, where each successful game advances you through a simple story. But the replay value after finishing, is just not there. There is no need for most of the capabilities you can buy in the game store. The interactive cut scenes where you have to click on the correct object instead of playing solitaire, are ridiculously easy, and completely pointless. In this version of solitaire you move field cards onto the discard pile, which is the opposite to most forms of solitaire i've seen before. You've won if you can discard all of the field cards. It is enjoyable enough and would be fun to play occasionally if a non campaign mode had been provided. As it stands, you might get an hour or two of fun out of this title. 2/5. Doesn't have the charm of a Faerie Solitaire by a huge margin, but if you want something in that vein, this is easily a decent time-waster. (Specifically: this thing gives me nasty draws quite often. I've lost 4-5 cards at the beginning of a round because they offer me no moves. Just hit restart out the gate if that's the case.) It's gimmick solitaire, you already know if you want this or not whether I tell you so. It's just going to lock a lot of powerups until you hit later levels as its main trick.edit: Playing on, this game... doesn't seem confident in itself as a solitaire game. It even adds little hidden-object puzzles between some stages to make you "continue", or keeps deck selection (DECK SELECTION of all things!!) locked behind stage progression. Guh.. I like solitair games. This one has an easy mechanic with variety in the layout of cards, and interesting extras. You play a bunch of games in one location, then move on to the next, until you get to safety from the zombies. The zombie theme is done in a humorous way, and very amusing. And there are even brief point and click adventure-like scenes in between locations. The interface is comfortable, and while I sometimes think an undo function would be nice, I think it is not really needed.Very nice to play during a break, for longer, while watching TV, eating,... Whenever you'd like to play a solitair game and want something new. Even after reaching the goal, you can go back to any of the games.. Level 12 sucks. I have replayed level 12 over a dozen time annd am still unable to proceed past this level! If there was an undo option, it might help, buut doubt it!. This game is like Faerie Solitare, but not as much fun. It is also unfair with difficulty. You always have to use consumables in later stages to win. I would recommend it if you like the game type.. Buy this game if you enjoy playing solitaire and killing zombies. The humor and cartoony graphics are what make this game fun to play. You kill zombies by removing cards. You can purchase a maximum of three special cards like wild cards at once. The special cards and the search for hidden items between the levels make this game more fun to play than a typical game of solitaire. I thought this game would be really short. I thought there would be a maximum of 25 levels at most. There are 103 levels. The levels become more difficult because of the way the decks are arranged. There are also special cards in the decks that make the game more difficult. Something else I like about this game is that it was designed to work with wide-screen monitors. Most solitaire games have stretched graphics and blurry details if you try to use a wide-screen monitor to play them. Try to finish a level without buying an extra deck of cards from the shop. That's the real challenge of this game.. Okay for a short while, but when I reached the bridge the gameplay wore thin. With some funny artwork and a decent theme, this is an interesting variation on the solataire game. But is it better than playing plain vanilla solataire? Not really.. It's pretty much exactly what it looks like: variations on pyramid solitaire with a zombie theme. Progressing through the levels lets you travel along the path to escape from the zombies and get to a safe place. In addition to the varied layouts of each level, there are also various powerups you can buy in the shop which unlock as you progress, and which occasionally show up on the game board itself. While doing well (making long combinations and winning the level) will net you a large number of coins with which to buy the powerups, even losing a level will gain you some amount, meaning it's unlikely you will ever be stuck on a level for long. The powerups can be anything from a single card to help you bridge a gap between the showing card and what's on the table, to clearing an entire column of cards with a bowling ball, or even just an outright "I win" button for the level that clears everything. While I felt like the powerups made the game a bit too easy, it's likely that with over 100 levels, I would have gotten bored of the game and given up before I completed it, given the random nature of the levels and the probability that I would have needed to restart many of them repeatedly to win. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys solitaire that wants to try a new twist on a familiar game.. My least favorite in the series. It has cards but no achievements. Powerups are too OP if you have the cash for them, which you usually do, so the game can be easily breezed through. However, it's not a bad game on sale, but for full price I personally do not recommend it.. A fun solitaire game with lots of power ups.
